1866 December 2, Girgenti. The caretaker Pasquale Rizzo Pinna reports that the buildings of Concordia Giunone Lacinia and Ercole are in the same state as when they were entrusted to the caretaker, while a mosaic was found to lack a marble slab, preserved elsewhere. He points out that the Phalaride Chapel is blackened as it is used by some cottages as a kitchen. Finally, two small houses are at risk of occupation as their doors and windows are broken.
