1867 November 8, Girgenti. On behalf of the Mayor, the commissioner Amato denies the Prefect of Girgenti the return of an amphora found in the territory and claimed by the Archaeological Museum of Palermo on the basis of the Royal Decree of 3 May 1863, whose articles 5 and 9 are inapplicable. The commissioner requests the Prefect to ask the King's Government for the legitimate application of art. 9 in recognition of the existence of the Girgenti Museum.
