Pasquale Villari, general secretary of the Minister of Public Education, writes to the Prefect of Girgenti about the discovery and theft of a statue of Proserpina, inviting him to execute articles 3, 4 and 6 of the Royal Decree 1822, which establish the confiscation of assets not reported and found through unauthorized excavations.
